Don’t let the burnt crust fool ya! That french toast was the best. So here’s what happened… There’s nothing better than breakfast for lunch, so yesterday I pulled out two slices of raisin bread, threw them on the heated pan, then started checking Instagram and Twitter and Pinterest on my iPhone. Slowly, but surely, the aroma began to fill my apartment. But see, this is the one thing I’ve learned about toasting bread this way: by the time the aroma wafts your way, it’s close to burned. Thus the crispy crust, which I devoured anyway after I cut them up, kid-style (they taste the best that way). So here’s a little French toast to go along with some stylish and humorous links I’ve dubbed the Eclectic Index.
