I’m stamping this space with my Eclectic Bestseal of approval. Toile, mixed prints, black and white graphics, modern poster and lighting, lots of color, etc. It certainly isn’t for everyone, but I could spend a night or two here.

This has been one of the sunniest winters I’ve had in a long time, which is part of what makes living in California so great, but there are times when I’m desperate to throw on a wool coat or wear all gray (to maximize the look a dreary background is needed). The good thing is, a dab of gold here, and a dab of gold there, will make an all-gray outfit work in these bright winter days. Plus, peep that space on the left… It’s proof that gray and gold make for stylish living quarters as well (thank you, Kelly Wearstler). Time for me to go throw on some gray and get this day started.
Earrings are so necessary, aren’t they? I think I told this story over on my old blog, but I’m such an earring girl because my mom would not let me pierce my ears until I turned 16. I didn’t get my driver’s license like the rest of my friends, instead I went to the mall and marched myself right over to Claire’s. And I’ve been hooked ever since. These BCBGenerationhoops are my latest finds and I’ve worn them all weekend, even on Saturday night – and I didn’t even leave my apartment. Are you a sucker for earrings like me? Or maybe rings and bracelets are more your thing. Either way, let us know.
