The 2012 London Olympics are here and I am too excited about it, especially for the track and field, swimming and gymnastics events. I must admit I haven’t had that same level of love for gymnastics like I did in the 90s when Shannon Miller was running things, but I’m looking forward to the rivalry between Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte in the pool, and to see how crazy fast Usain Bolt and Lolo Jones will run. Are there any events you’re going to watch? Do you remember when both the summer and winter Olympics were held the same year? Well, I love that they decided to switch it up so that they alternate every two years, don’t you? Go Team USA! And Team Bahamas (that’s for my West Indian roots).
